Rick Gasaway
Richard “Rick” Gasaway is a professional electrical engineer who has more than 18 years of experience in electrical power plant design.
Rick earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) in 1990 from the
University of Missouri-Rolla. Married with one son, Rick loves to snow ski and watch St. Louis
Cardinals baseball. Every year since he was 12, Rick had made Christmas ornaments out of
bread dough, and says they are “marvelous conversation starters.”

His last name, “Gasaway,” is also a conversation starter, particularly in light of the fact
that Rick is a strong advocate for reducing gasoline usage and promoting a hydrogen gas
economy. A contributing author to the compilation book, Living the Serenity Prayer (Adams Media, 2007), Rick lives in Overland Park, Kansas.
